Pacific feels less like a simple golf course and more like a full Brisbane golf campus. You have the 18-hole par 72 course, the Hilltop par-3 course, short-game practice, simulators, fitting, mini golf, dining, and a beer garden. This Pacific Golf Club review is about whether that all-round package helps or just makes the place busy.
I see more upside than downside. Pacific is a strong fit if you want one venue that covers serious golf, family golf, practice, and social food. - The facility mix is excellent. You can play 18 holes, use the par-3 course, practise, fit clubs, eat, and bring family to mini golf.
- The visitor pathway is stated clearly. Non-members are invited to register as public members to book tee times.
- The practice facilities are stronger than average. Pacific lists a 1000 sqm putting green, warm-up bays, and a short-game area with two chipping greens and bunkers.
- The Hilltop par-3 course matters. It gives beginners, juniors, and short-game players a lower-pressure option.
What I did not like
- Pricing is not as transparent as the best AU posts in this series. The live pages point to tee sheets, registration, and a membership pack rather than a simple public fee table.
- The venue can feel busy. Restaurant, mini golf, social events, school-holiday products, and main-course golf all share the club ecosystem.

Best time to visit
For Brisbane golf, I prefer May through August. It is cooler, drier, and more comfortable for walking or practising. September and October are also good if you want warmer weather without the full summer humidity.
Summer golf can still work, but Pacific’s indoor simulator and clubhouse options become more attractive then. If the day is hot, book early and save the beer garden or simulator for later.
Dress code and etiquette
