Narooma is one of those courses where the setting does half the talking before you hit a shot. In this Narooma Golf Club review, the big question is not whether the course is scenic. It is whether the current A$85 visitor fee, cart costs, and travel time still add up.

What I liked and did not like

- The pricing is easy to understand. Narooma publishes 18, 12, 6-hole, junior, guest, reciprocal, competition, cart, club-hire, and buggy prices.
- The short-round options are excellent. Travellers can play 6 or 12 holes without forcing a full day around golf.
- The membership table is public. Full, social golfing, country, youth, intermediate, senior, social, and cart-use categories are all listed.
- The Golf Tech Centre is a genuine bonus. The club says it provides swing analysis, accuracy and speed testing, and club fitting support.
What I did not like
- Travel time is the real cost. Narooma is a destination stop, not a quick Sydney or Canberra after-work round.
- Cart hire adds up. A visitor 18-hole cart is A$55, so a riding round becomes A$140 before food or drinks.
- Competition times need planning. The pro shop can take bookings for social and competition golf, but comp windows are specific.

Dress code and etiquette
