What I liked
- The fees are unusually clear for Sydney. Council and club pages publish public green fees, hire fees, membership fees, and joining-fee rules.
- Visitor access is straightforward. Social golf is available seven days around competition windows, with online booking and Pro Shop support.
- Membership has usable tiers. Full Playing, 6 Day, Midweek, 30 Member, 50 Member, Intermediate, Junior, Country, and Social categories cover different budgets.
- The setting is convenient. Gordon gives North Shore golfers a practical local option without private-club barriers.
What I did not like
- It is not a destination championship course. The appeal is convenience and value, not epic scale.
- Fee tables can differ slightly by source. The council page and club page show very similar but not identical public fees, so confirm at booking.
- Competition windows matter. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday competition play can shape social tee-time availability.
Membership and fees
All prices are in AUD. Ku-ring-gai Council lists adult public fees at A$31 for weekday 10 holes, A$40 for weekday 18 holes, A$35 for weekend/public-holiday 10 holes, and A$50.50 for weekend/public-holiday 18 holes. Twilight after 2pm is A$25. Concession weekday rates are A$24 for 10 holes and A$31 for 18 holes. Primary school students are listed at A$15 for 10 or 18 holes.
Hire fees are also published: drive carts are listed at A$38 for 10 holes and A$50 for 18 holes, pull buggies at A$6, MGI clubs at A$15 for 10 holes and A$20 for 18 holes, and hire clubs at A$20 for 10 holes and A$30 for 18 holes.
